Three schools have been chosen to partake in our Young Film Makers Project 2007 with two projects already underway. This years participants are :

St. Oliver Plunkett¹s N.S. Kilcurran, Ballinasloe
Holy Rosary College, Mountbellew
Seamount College, Kinvara

These films will screen as part of the Shorts programme on Fri 9th Nov at

Best Performance at Fresh Film Festival 2007
Christopher Cleary from Ballinfoyle Youth Group in Galway beat some very tough comptition to win this award for his portrayal of a corrupt local politician in the film Revulscious Accusation – screened at last year’s Junior Film Festival and made in conjunction with the Galway Film Centre.

The JFF have produced a dvd archiving all 22 films produced under the Young Film Makers Project since 2000. If you would like to purchase or borrow a copy of the dvd please contact us.
